CARNIVAL x S.E.E.D.

Leading up to Carnival, we teamed up with the adidas U.S team to bring their first S.E.E.D. Workshop to Canada. What's S.E.E.D.? It's the School for Experiential Education in Design, an inside look at adidas where young designers get to dive into real brand projects. For Carnival 2023, students from the program put their skills to work, designing parade costumes for Toronto Revellers dancers. To shine a spotlight on this program, we invited local designers and budding talent to a creative workshop at the adidas halo store in Toronto Eaton Centre. Led by S.E.E.D. Ambassadors and students, this experience wasn't just about showcasing the program—it was a chance for participants to unleash their creativity against the vibrant backdrop of Carnival. In total, 20 aspiring designers from the city joined in, leaving with a newfound appreciation for S.E.E.D. and the Carnival spirit. It was all about spreading the love for design and celebrating creativity in our community.
